Nut butter is so easy to make in your thermal mixer. It’s a staple in our house and our favourite mix is A-B-C: Almond, Brazil nut and Cashew. You can use any combination of nuts you have on hand, though.

Tomorrow is the day I release my second cookbook for pre-sale – Summer Meal Mix Up! It’s a very exciting time and I know that many of you can’t wait to get cooking from it, so I’m sharing the ingredients for one of the salads in the book – Maple-roasted pumpkin with walnut dukkah. This way, you can have everything on hand to make it as soon as the eBook hits your inbox! Continue reading Thermobexta’s Maple-Roasted Pumpkin with Walnut Dukkah
This is a great Friday night recipe, when you’re tired and just want dinner on the table fast, with little effort. Made with ingredients you will most likely have on hand (other than probably the corn chips), it’s convenient and thrifty! This recipe was inspired by my wonderful sister, Claire xx

Perfect for cold nights, this is a simple meal that will warm you up from the inside! Adaptable according to whatever veggies you have in your fridge, every time you make it will be different, but you can’t really go wrong. Continue reading Thermobexta’s Whatever Chunky Vegetable Soup
Chocolate self saucing pudding was the really special dessert we occasionally had whilst growing up. Mum used to make it every now and then and when I moved out I took a copy of her recipe. I’ve made it a few times and every time I do it brings back fond memories of eating it as a kid. Last night I decided I’d take it upon myself to try my best at a gluten free version of that sweet, chocolatey goodness, being that I have quite a few GF followers and well, I wanted chocolate pudding and felt like having a play with mum’s recipe. I’m very happy with how this has turned out and I really hope it makes you happy too! Continue reading Thermobexta’s Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding
All of a sudden it’s cooled down here in Perth and with that wintery feeling, comes the urge to eat soup. Well, for me anyway. I have included lots of immune-boosting ingredients in this one, it will be the one I whip up when one of us starts to feel a bit under the weather over winter!

My go-to recipe for Anzac bickies for the past few years has been one on the TOM Organics website. It was easy to make, used a selection of ingredients I always have on hand and the bickies were just perfect. I went to make them last week and was sad to find the recipe was no longer there! So of course that meant I needed to try my hand at coming up with something Anzac-ish, Thermobexta-style. Continue reading Thermobexta’s Anzac Slice
This is a sauce I make for my kids when they ask for pancakes or crepes. Made from ingredients that I always have on hand and so quick whip up, it’s a lovely addition and adds a little fruit to their otherwise fairly plain plates. Continue reading Thermobexta’s Fast Blueberry Sauce
Before the release of my first cookbook – Thermobexta: Main Meals Made Easy, it was suggested in my Facebook group that I release the ingredients list of one of the recipes so people could be prepared with ingredients on hand to get cooking as soon as their eBook hit their inbox! So I put it to the people and the resounding winner of the popularity contest was this utterly delicious, super satisfying all-in-one meal. Great choice! Though, all of the meals I’ve chosen to include in the book are extremely good, so any choice would have been great (contents on photo above) 🙂 Continue reading Mushroom Stroganoff with Whipped Sweet Potato Mash
